      People can and do travel in and out of Russia so be careful what you wish for; anything spreading widely and easily isn’t going to stay in one place for long in our global society.

            Nah, as someone who suspects strongly she’s on the spectrum I try to remember that there are people who simply can’t recognise sarcasm unless there’s clear signage. Tone indicators are important.

          Poe’s law is an adage of Internet culture which says that, without a clear indicator of the author’s intent, any parodic or sarcastic expression of extreme views can be mistaken by some readers for a sincere expression of those views.
