So ive said a lot of shit about America since their dive into insanity. But I’ve ran into relatively normal people that now view America as a pure enemy. Like really calm people that have told Americans to their face that if they step into canada, with the intention of invasion, they will be met with a bullet to the head. And more then a few that legitimately know how to cause mass destruction. I don’t think our neighbors to the south really understand just how fucked they made this relationship. I’m just understanding that my hot head position isn’t too far from the norm.
I forgot to make this interactive, really what I’m saying is have other people ran into this? Where your gut reaction of let’s end them as a country has now bled into the people around you that you wouldn’t think thought like that?
It’s so dumb that the threat of a financial recession is what finally brought out the no-more-mister-nice-guy attitude. Not the democratic backsliding, not the open disdain for human rights.
None of those affect Canadians directly. At the end of the day we’re all just monkies fighting for resources.

People don’t (nor should they) take it likely when he says he’s going to use economic force. Canada already has an affordability crisis with its social services under incredible strain. If he proceeds full throttle, Canadians will die.
Sort of. We sure do talk big shit about caring, though, and most people believe they do themselves. Not to mention, there’s no universe where the American Reich wouldn’t end poorly for us.
Some of the ones that are already very poor “only”. Anyone else has enough political and economic resources that it won’t come to that. It definitely won’t come to that for politicians and buisinesspeople who set the tone the most.
