Put the water and rolled oats in a sauce pan. Bring to boil on medium heat. Stir constantly. When the oats are soft and fluffy, and the water has mostly absorbed to a thick consistency (10-15 minutes), add cream, blueberries, cinnamon, maple syrup, and any optional fruit/nuts. Combine gently to not crush the blueberries.
Adjust consistency of the porridge with cream so that it puddles in a spoon.
Morning Porridge

I like quick oats. Add water. 2.5 mins in micro. Add milk and fruit.
The texture of the “old fashioned / rolled” oats is so far superior, though.
