I like Yuki so I don’t want him going there and ruining his career. On the other hand, his F1 career might already be over anyway so I guess there’s not much to lose?

Side note, the Suzuka crowds will be wild if we get Yuki in a Red Bull. Maybe worth the swap off soda sales alone?

Unless RB keep Yuki in the main team and he keeps getting eliminated in Q1 until the end of season, I don’t think it’s going to be too detrimental for him. Liam and Max (and to some extent Checo) have already demonstrated that the car is completely fucked, no one will think Yuki suddenly can’t drive, and if he manages to score points regularly that can only be a good thing for him.

This. Yuki has no drive in the long term since he recommitted to Red Bull group instead of moving around when he had the chance during big driver shuffle. Also yuki has been formula 1 a lot longer lawson, hadjar, etc. so he will get the benefit of the doubt even if he doesn’t perform as he has a proven track record behind him. If he does do decent, it will mark him as an adaptable driver who can drive difficult cars and his stocks go up.
