Summary

Donald Trump falsely claimed he had approval ratings of 69% and 71%, despite no public poll supporting those figures.

Recent surveys from Pew, Quinnipiac, Gallup, and others place his approval below 50%, with some showing him underwater.

Trump has a history of dismissing unfavorable polls as “fake” and even sued a news organization over poll results.

Experts suggest his political success relies on maintaining the illusion of widespread support despite declining approval ratings.

Imagine how stupid and unimaginative you’d have to create your own approval rating and go with a number as low as 70%.

    Aim higher Donny, aim higher.

Surprised he didn’t go with his famous 110%. Why not, anyone that believes him won’t fact check or point out you can’t have a 110% approval rate. 🤷
