It’s true. But if the politicians are unhappy if that situation, they should have written their law differently. TikTok complying with the law as written is legal
That’s a data protection law from the EU. I suspect there’s other security legislation at either EU or member state level that would preclude data being sent for spying purposes

Isn’t that something pretty standard ? Like the same thing happen with facebook/google/Yandex or even reddit ? Technically even feddit.de would have to cooperate with German authority when asked.
I agree that you can trust the German government way more than China (and most likely way more than any other European government) but the issue of user data being used for massive espionage isn’t a problem specific to Tik Tok.
