I had no idea this was going on. This was an excellent game to play. A totally unique, immersive experience.
Does the game have a socialist foundation? I’ve played it several times and I don’t see it.
The union in the game is corrupt as fuck, if you become a Marxist you get told all the flaws in the ideology (just like all the other ideologies you can follow).
The way you can tell is games with flawed but sympathetic depictions of socialism are made by socialists, while capitalists either don’t include any socialists or have them as generic villains.
FTA:
“No matter what you choose or where you turn, you and everyone else sound like idiots, which adds to the realism of the experience.”
That’s not “realism” to me and was the #1 reason I refunded the game.
