Is this good or bad? I can’t tell.

They had to shutdown the one in in the Kharkiv region, and they are offering those employees first dibs on the 250 jobs that will be available. It’s good for the employees and their families.

Thanks. Makes sense for both parties.

Smoking is bad for a country under stress. The population decline from war followed by the population decline and health costs for that population years later will set the country back even further.

Absolutely, yet smokers not smoking is **really ** bad for the stress level.

I’m thinking more in lines of whether this is war profiteering, worker exploitation, or a genuine needed help from the good old tobacco giant.

Personally I would think they could get their products produced elsewhere if they needed, so I am wondering what a producer of luxury products gain from establishing anything in a war zone. Do they even grow tobacco in Ukraine?
