

Not sure if “The Beautiful Maiden (可憐な乙女)” is a real-world symphony but I found it amusing they have Scarlet “dance” to one with such a name with the nobles.
可憐な is usually translated as lovely or sweet in these contexts but the kanjis 可 (can) 憐 (pity) invokes the image of somebody who you want to protect instead of this:
(Incidentally that’s probably why the phrase has the other meaning of pitiful / pitiable)
