Looks like that immunity shielding agreement just fell through, good on Poland for voting to stop protecting Orban from the consequences of his total bullshit.

No. Noone says that in Hungary except the most delusionals. Orbán loves to play little games, to annoy everyone, but he knows his boundaries. This speech about the Poles were in his jamboree, where he spoke to his followers. I bet, next week you will see news where he says he was misunderstood or something like that. He always does this, speak random bullshit to his followers, than he says something totally different in Brussels.
In 2022 at the same festival he was speaking about how Hungarians are not a mixed race (sic!). in 2014 about illiberal democracy. Tusványos speeches are usually for the most hardcore fans, and he always says something awful for attention.

Like in mediaeval feudal times - we (EU) shall send our ugliest daughter (Hungary) to marry the foreign sovereign (Russia). It will bring peace for a time, but the offsprings (congruences) are sure to be ugly af.

This development has been super interesting For a very long time, Poland has been that one best friend Hungary had and they worked together to block everything together (see also Visegrád Group). Then, after the invasion of Ukraine the relationship between them was disrupted very heavily.
