    They must be taking it up because they want to revert climate legislation before the election, or alternatively to delay other proceedings. Unless someone has a better explanation

      They’re not up for election; Supreme Court justices have lifetime appointments. It’s just part of their bigger agenda of ending the use of regulation in any way that benefits people instead of corporations.

        We know the SC is a lifetime appointment. The point being made is that fully 2/3 of the SC are doing to best to help their right-wing political allies, despite the fact that the SC is very definitely supposed to be as unbiased and apolitical as possible.
