Hope he will do better than Perez. But it will be a challenge in arguably the slowest (or worst drivable) car on the grid. You can be very enthusiastic about a driver change. Won’t make the car faster over the weekend. Ricciardo ha some work cut out for him.

This is Red Bull’s test for who’s going to be getting Checo’s seat next year. Danny or Yuki?

I’m also not going to be thinking about how Danny is going to qualify P18 in that AlphaTauri

Gotta agree on that. Think checo is on thin ice there. Unless he has a stellar second half of the year, he’s gone. Can’t see Yuki getting close to max though

I think it’s the other way around. If Danny has a stellar second half of the year, he might be considered for Checos seat next year. If not, then Checo will stay simply because he’s bringing home enough points to secure WCC, and doesn’t wreck the car. That is unless RB somehow snatches someone like Lando.

Lando won’t be leaving the orange suit until his contract is up since it supposedly has NO outs. He has also shown a lot of loyalty already and that last race at silver stone probably made him feel quite good about giving mclaren more time
