Oh man, if I had a nickel for every time some old farmer asked me if I was looking for runestones when out surveying in central Minnesota. I tell myself they’re just joking around, but there are a lot of true believers around here, so you never know.
Who knows, you still might find one – one that was buried by a bored farm kid. Might’ve made a nice diversion from cow-tipping.
Minnesotan here, Dad’s family were Swedish farmers. Yep, they’d tell ya how 'dem Vikins was here a way before Columbus or any a 'dem guys.
